Corin Museum Closure in the UK
By Kevin McElhone

I don't think I have mentioned it before, but this is the third museum
closure in twelve months: Paul Corin's Magnificent Music Machines,
Cornwall.

The building is being converted into a wedding venue.

This means that there is only one privately-run mechanical or automatic
musical instrument museum left in the UK now. The remaining four are,
of course, run by trustees, which should ensure their longer-term
survival.

I thought it important that readers know, so they will not have a
wasted journey. If any editors of society magazines read this, perhaps
you would inform your own members as well.
