Book Music Punch & Die Specification
By John McClelland

Greetings all, Jonathan Holmes had a query about what punches to
use for book music.

When I built my perforator I used "Rosspunch" mold release pins.
They come in half-thousandth [inch] sizes and many different lengths.
They appear to be hard enough to go through eight layers of roll
paper without getting too dull too quickly. Yes, they will have to
be replaced at sometime, but are dead straight and precision ground
to size.

These punches are what Richard Tonnesen used in his perforator for
all those years, replacing them only when needed. Hope this helps.
