The reason Jeff Bridges cannot find the style 125 roll that has the
same tunes on it as does style 150 roll 14528 is that no such roll with
those tunes was ever made for the style 125 scale.
The history of the 150 roll is this. It was first issued without any
number, but with the title "Circus Hits" in 1990. Tune 1 was arranged
by Art Reblitz, all the other tunes on the roll were recut from various
earlier Wurlitzer rolls. In 2010 Andy Adams (Gold Leaf Galleries) had
copies made by Play-Rite, who assigned the number 14528 for the purpose
of selling the roll.
Mike Grant, when he was making style 125 rolls for his own band organ
and for sale to other 125 roll users, had produced a number of style
125 rolls by retubing his perforator to copy 150 rolls, B.A.B. rolls,
and other types of rolls. If Mike wanted to, and is still actively
producing style 125 rolls, he could make Jeff the desired roll, if Jeff
could get him a copy of the 150 roll from Andy Adams.
