This is a matter which separates the music enthusiasts from the
speculators.  No music enthusiast whatsoever would imagine there were
any reason for not listening to a new roll just as soon as the roll
came near a player piano.

Who wants to see intact seals?  No one who listens to piano rolls!  If
you can hesitate to listen to new acquisitions as soon as you get them
home, I have to wonder what it is that you'd really rather be
collecting?
