Player Piano Basics
By Dennis Pelton

I've got my first player piano project. Is there a site or page that
will give me the basics? For instance, this piano has a set of five
small bellows up above the keys (not the ones that work the keys, got
88 of those). What do those five small ones do?

Dennis Pelton

[ It sounds like they are the pneumatics for the air motor that
[ drives the music roll. You should not tackle this project until
[ you have read thoroughly Arthur Reblitz's excellent "Player Piano
  [ Servicing and Rebuilding."
