The Morris Museum invites all mechanical, opera and classical music
enthusiasts to join us as Professor W. Anthony Sheppard, the
musicologist who made this amazing discovery, conducts a multi-media
evening program titled "Mysterious Melodies of Madama Butterfly
Discovered at the Morris Museum."
Leading us through a rich, international history involving Switzerland,
China, Italy, and America, the evening will include demonstrations of
the ca. 1877 musical box from the Murtogh D. Guinness Collection, plus
performances of those various selections by award winning soprano and
recent addition to Opera New Jersey, Ms. Zhanna Alkhazova. See:
