FS: New G Roll Arranged by Stephen Kent Goodman
By Brian Wenzinger

Hello MMD, I recently had a special G roll arranged by Stephen Kent
Goodman of ten popular tunes. These tunes have a theme to them, but
I'll let you figure that out. Others who have heard this roll liken it
to a hits roll vs. the theme for which it was developed. I needed to
have ten rolls cut to get the one I wanted and now I have four left to
sell to anyone interested. The tune list is below:

 1. Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead
 2. Theme from "The Munsters"
 3. People are Strange
 4. Funeral March of a Marionette
 5. Cruella De Vil
 6. Theme from "The Addams Family"
 7. Funeral March
 8. The Phantom of the Opera
 9. Grim Grinning Ghosts
10. Casper the Friendly Ghost

If you know Stephen's work, it's top notch, geared towards my
instruments, a Seeburg G and KT Special. I've played this roll on
a Nelson Wiggen 6X and it sounded wonderful, now I want a 6X and
a house big enough to fit it!

Stephen arranged these tunes with a nod to the period in which our
machines lived, so many surprises await you as you listen to these
familiar tunes. Stephen also knows how to get the most out of these
machines using all the bells and whistles (or wood block and triangle)
when appropriate. The roll turned out better than I could have
envisioned, mostly due to the skill and talent of the arranger --
thanks, Stephen!

I've posted a few of the tunes on YouTube played on a few different
instruments. I apologize for the Nelson Wiggen upload; my digital
camera did something odd during the filming of the Nelson Wiggen and
that's the best audio upload I could manage. My KT Special isn't in
great shape, but it should give you an idea of the quality of the
arrangements with a clean audio upload. There is also a Seeburg G
represented (although not mine), and that upload seemed to come out
a little better:

I have four G rolls left. I doubt there will be any others cut, but
I won't say never since it is a pretty great roll and worth sharing if
there is sufficient interest. I'm offering the last four rolls for
$95 each which includes shipping by USPS Media Mail to your address in
the lower 48 states with tracking.
