Oops! I forgot to qualify what I MIDI-fied on my MIDI-controlled
fairground organ. I used a synthesizer to produce all the pipe
organ sounds and the bass drum. All the other percussions
(glockenspiel, snare drum, cymbal, wood block, triangle, maracas,
etc.) were live and sounded using solenoids and wooden hammers.
All the traps sounds were built on a unit that went on top of the
organ. There is a photo in the MMD Archives at
http://www.mmdigest.com/Gallery/Pictures/Latorre1.html
The arranging of tunes for the fairground organ was done using
MasterTracks MIDI editor/sequencer program. I used MIDI channel 11
for the glockenspiel and channel 10 for the percussions. The Roland
SD35 was used as a file player and synthesizer. I still have the
arrangements and I would share them with others if requested.
