FS: O-roll Orchestrion Project in Wales
By Nicholas Newble

I would like to find a good home for all or any of the following parts
which make up what was to be a home-build O-roll orchestrion. Sadly,
owing to lack of room and funds, and with other more pressing matters
to attend to, I have decided to end the project really before it has
even begun in earnest, but thought there might just be someone out
there with an interest in it.

I have a USA voltage electric O-roll motor and complete spoolframe
with chucks, built, I believe, by an employee of PPCo; a fair number
of O-rolls; a 21 note glockenspiel with pneumatics, beaters and valve
chest attached; a very nicely built pneumatic interface device which
would convert output from the solo part of the piano stack into a
further switched output to either glockenspiel or pipes; a player piano
stack fully working and with 24 outputs for solo instrument, along with
an Aeolian ex-player piano, and finally a cabinet which sits on top of
the piano and has quite nice stained glass doors to it.

Anyone interested in any of these bits please get in touch and I can
send photos if required. The smaller items I would consider shipping
abroad. The piano and cabinet would be free of charge to anyone
collecting, from my location in mid Wales, UK.

Regards,

Nicholas Newble
