Manischewitz Wine Bottle Organ
By Craig Smith

Hi Phil, I saw your note on the MMD this morning so I looked up the
YouTube post you mentioned. I must say, you have the best sounding
wine rack in the world -- the folks at Manischewitz should post you
a few bottles for the free advertising!

There have been a number of bottle organs on the web over the last
few years but yours sounds better than any I've heard. Nice job.
I've been saving a couple ranks of pipes for some years after I built
a MIDI organ for a street musician. Maybe I'll be inspired to finally
get my act together and make the simple organ I've been thinking about
for a long time. Thanks again for the great job and for sharing it.
I'm looking forward to the coming details, especially the blower you
chose.

Regards,
Craig Smith

P.S.: Cutting wood makes you warm three times -- once when you cut
it, once when you split it and once when you burn it -- while making
a wine bottle organ makes you and your friends happy at least twice:
once when you hear it play and once when you collect the materials!
