Hello everyone, Back in 1996 I restored a Weber upright Pianola 56-P
65/88-note Themodist, serial number 66019. My customer has become
terminally ill and wishes to find a good home for it.
I re-pinned, re-strung and re-bushed keys, re-felted the key bed,
replaced dampers, replaced hammers, back check felt and catcher
buckskin. I nickel-plated all the hardware, refinished the case
in walnut satin. It still has its original ivory and of course I
restored the player completely. It is a beautiful piece. Pictures
can be made available. It is still running fine.
My customer would like to get an idea what the going price for this
would be right now and if there is any interest. I thought I would
send it out to the MMD first before I tell him to go ahead with his
plan to donate it to a local rest home. He agreed.
Any response would be appreciated.
Thank you all,
