Seek Hupfeld Phonola Rebuilder In New York
By Eric Stott

The Capitol Theater in Rome, New York, has recently acquired a nice
Hupfeld Phonola player in a Grunert upright. They are interested in
getting it working. Is there a technician familiar with the Phonola
action somewhere in Central New York?

The tracker bar and roll chucks are nickel finished and appear to be
set up for 88-note rolls, plus some marginal holes. One man thought
it might take Triphonola rolls. I'll try to take pictures tonight.
If anyone has some information please reply to me and I'll forward to
the theater management.
