Seek "M" Rolls of "Modern" Music
By Marc Sachnoff

Hello All from sunny Seattle, where summer has finally arrived --
and will only stay a few weeks!

I'm wondering if "M" roll arrangements exist of "modern" music:
Broadway tunes, recent hits, holiday music, etc. I recently
purchased a Wurlitzer Style O Photoplayer which plays these rolls.
I know they were otherwise only used on Cremona instruments, but
on my "Franken-Photoplayer" anything is possible! ;-) Any sources
would be welcomed.

Warmly,
Marc J. Sachnoff
Seattle

[ The Coinola "O" roll library is probably the best collection of
[ post-WW2 music for orchestrions that show off percussion devices.
[ It shouldn't be difficult to move the tracker bar tubing to play
 [ "O" rolls. -- Robbie
