Now that Randolph Herr has "blazed the trail" with replicating
decorated pedal mats, I feel more confident in moving forward with
replicating the fancy "S", "Standard" mat I have, the best from that
pair I found in an Atlanta warehouse, with the original protective
cardboard still over them (never touched by human feet!).
I'll watch his video when it's up on YouTube, so I needn't "reinvent
the wheel", then proceed. Anyone who expressed an interest in them
please contact me, again. I imagine that the price will be the same
as Randolph's "P" mats. (They have to be made piecemeal and by hand,
after all.)
As regards size variations used by "Standard" over the years, I don't
know off-hand which version these are, but I don't believe they're the
very early type. I could accommodate size variation by simply putting
a border on the edge, or shrinking or expanding the current pattern
on a copying machine and then having it cut out with a laser or a
water-jet cutter, but that sounds cost prohibitive, currently.
