Marc, Try Wilhelm Albers AG in Hamburg. They make a 1.2 mm thick
hinge in stainless. The stock size is larger than you need, but you
can have it cut down by any machinist. The cost is less than five
Euros, plus shipping.
I think they also have an English web site, but if they don't I can
help you with ordering in German. (By the way, the German word for
hinge is "Scharnier".)
