I have finally been convinced to make a run of the rubber motor mounts
for Ampico pianos.  I have the molds to make these in long strips so
that means you can cut them to the width you desire and drill the
holes.

The rubber will be tan in color as I wanted black rubber but the supply
house convinced me the tan would be more stable, with a durometer of 80.
This is the hardness of an automobile tire.  If you freeze the rubber
then it is easy to drill.

I bought twenty pounds of rubber and will see how many feet of mounts
it makes before I determine a price.  Hopefully it will be around $20.00
per 8-inch strip.   I would like to hear from anyone interested in
these pieces.
