[ Ref. 120705 MMD, Musical Museum in Deansboro, New York ]
In the absence of the Deansboro Museum noted in the referenced article,
another great suggestion is the Musical Memories Museum, located in
Allentown, Pennsylvania. This private collection is open to free tours
by appointment, and consists of three floors and hundreds of pieces,
many of which can be demonstrated.
Of special note are a Violano Virtuoso, Seeburg KT, Seeburg E, Seeburg
MO, Seeburg HO, Mason Hamlin Duplicating Grand, Wilhelm Bruder "monkey
organ", Wurlitzer Band Organ, Link Model A orchestrion, two Regina disc
players, a Wurlitzer Pianino, and countless cob organs, Victrolas, reed
organs, pipe organs, and early radios. The collection is accented by
antique memorabilia of the era including some artifacts from the Lone
Ranger, Mickey Mouse, and Mack Trucks.
