Offered for sale is a rare Mermod Freres Ideal Soprano Interchangeable,
in superb condition with remarkable sound, tone and timber, with four
cylinders in excellent condition, approximately 14-3/4 length. The
case is in quarter-sawn tiger oak, richly carved on the front, top and
sides, and is among the six known examples of the exhibition cases
produced by Mermod Freres for an exhibition in the 1890s.
