FS: 1920 Chickering 5' 9" Ampico in Georgia
By Gordon Stelter

For sale: 1920 Chickering Ampico with 600 rolls (mostly recuts),
needs restoration. 5' 9", mahogany case is perfect except for small,
easily repaired damage on lid edge and corners; matching bench; one
thin, straight crack in board ( board very "live"! ) perfect bridges;
very neat, "new" keytops; pump and motor gone, but I've found
replacements nearby for about $150.

The "hobbyist" owner tinkered with it previously, and had it very
nicely, professionally refinished, but it ought to have a total re-do
now. He also cleanly recovered all the bellows, but did no valve work.
It has a replacement transmission frame, and came from an apartment
with smokers.

The rolls are about 400 Ampico (80% recuts) and the rest are 88-note
and original Duo-Art and Welte licensee (100 88-note, 50 Duo-Art, 50
Welte Licensee).

I am considering all offers, but I am not yet in the mood to "give it
away", either. Will consider selling the rolls separately, en-masse.
Located in Athens, Georgia. (If you contacted me previously about
this, please do contact me privately, again.)
