Stuyvesant Player Piano
By Richard Friedman

The discussion of a few days ago on the Stuyvesant piano came to mind
when I had to do some action work on a small non-player grand today.
The fallboard had its original Stuyvesant decal, and the plate casting
said Aeolian Company. On the lowest two keys were rubber-stamped
"Steck P Grand 16". In addition, written on the number one key was
P93237. Based on the Aeolian serial numbers in the Piano Atlas this
would indicate a manufacture date of about 1930, which seemed right.
