Wanting to buy: OS or NOS rolls for a Reproduco piano-organ. I am
interested in originals and recuts. After years of watching, I was
finally in the right place, at the right time and the right price,
and I am now the proud owner of an Operator's Piano Company Reproduco
piano-organ combination.
The piano portion was made by the Seybold Co. and seems to be a quality
instrument. The organ portion is made up of 67 flute pipes and 37
Quintadenas. The 8' octave of flutes hangs on the back of the piano,
and all other pipes are nestled tightly in the area below the keyboard,
with swell shutters mounted in the knee board.
The previous owner tubed the tracker bar to play only 88-note rolls,
so I am in the process of reconnecting the tracker bar so it will play
OS and NOS rolls correctly, and I'm learning about how this instrument
operates as I go. If anyone out there has a schematic of the original
tubing layout and connections, I would appreciate any guidance or
assistance you are willing to offer.
This instrument is in very good condition for it's age, and I believe
it has lived in Colorado all it's life. Any offer of assistance or
rolls for sale will be appreciated.
