Dear MMDs, The traditional auction of mechanical music and automatas
will take place in Chartres (1 hour from Paris, France) on Sunday, May
20th, 2012. Ca. 280 items are for sale:
- About 20 good automatas and automaton toys by Roullet Decamps,
Gustave Vichy, Lambert and Renou.
- Many items in mechanical music, amidst them:
- One 'Limonaire' 49-notes with original Art Nouveau front;
- One Dutch street organ, 48 notes;
- One black forest clock by Joseph Klein with a 22-note organ;
- Many various musical boxes (cylinder) by Paillard, Heller,
Billon-Haller or (discs) by Symphonion, Polyphon, etc.;
- Many musical novelties (albums, tiles, etc.);
- A very large collection of cylinder and disc phonographs (150 items)
from M. Lacrout's collection;
- Related books, documentation, etc.
