FS: New Recut Duo-Art Reproducing Piano Rolls
By Julian Dyer

The striker pneumatics will definitely need new cloth. It's all so
black, and very "crunchy." There are also holes in the edges. What
kind of new cloth do you advise? I am thinking of using just plain
pneumatic cloth since it's not as thin as the zephyr skin of the
pouches.

The pouches are exactly as you describe (I'm still working on getting
pictures out to those who requested them), and many will need the
zephyr skin replaced. After opening up things, I think that this
action was ingeniously designed, and very well built. The tracker bar
tubing on it was extremely brittle, so that was removed first thing
so I could order new, but the exact same neoprene tubing inside the
action that connects to the valves is practically new. It is simply
astounding!

As to the zephyr skin, where is there a supplier for that? I am wanting
to work on the player as soon as I have the parts and advice, while the
pianos action is being repaired. I have a technician just down the
street helping me with the pianos action, but the player is all up to me!
