Kranich & Bach Player System Restored
By Donald Barton

We just finished restoring our first Kranich & Bach player system.
Two words: Wow! and Why? The end result is a marvelously pumping
player piano.

The quality of the piano is exceptional -- it must have been a very
expensive piano in it's day. We still can't figure out the theory
behind the design of the "kiss valve". Was it for a more rapid
escapement?

To view an article written by the owner of the piano, my newsletter
is posted on my web site: http://www.bartonplayerpianos.com/
