Reed Organ "Hermione" by Etienne Calba of Nancy
By Gerard Dabonot
Hello, in 120220 MMDigest Bjorn Isebaert was searching for the scale
of the "Hermione" organ which looks like a Thibouville system and was
made in Nancy, Lorraine, France.
There is one in the museum at Mirecourt. As far as we know there was
only this 27-note model; it was not a large firm.
Thanks to Michel Hocquet, I have a copy from the "Brevet d'invention du
3 aout 1889 à Malzéville". The scale is
Do re fa sol la
Do ré mi fa fa# sol la la# si
Do do# ré mi fa fa# sol la la# si
Do ré mi
or
C D F G A
C D E F F# G A A# B
C C# D E F F# G A A# B
C D E
