This unrestored push-up player is in a very pretty mahogany case
with some fairly minor veneer problems and water marks on the finish.
It has been in my barn for 20 years and is quite dirty. The wooden
tracker bar is about 11-3/4 inches long, has 69 holes, 6 holes per
inch, and plays 66 notes, G to C.
The roll is turned and rewound by a wind-up spring motor. The take-up
spool is at the top of the spoolbox and spool chuck at the bottom is
not a pin or slot. At one time I hoped to convert it to play 65-note
rolls but never got around to it. Pictures are available.
I would like to get $100 for it, picked up in southwestern
Massachusetts. Feel free to make an offer. If I get no offers within
a couple of weeks I would give it to someone willing to take it away so
please email me if you would take it.
