Quoting and sadly reflecting on Tracey Tolzman's comment in 120215
MMDigest, "Tom Wurdeman has since sold the perforator and rolls which
now sit in storage unused and unavailable."
As a past collector and appreciative fan on band organs and other
instruments, I read this with much sadness. This is the real downside
for having instruments acquired by those with means, but who just like
to "have" and have no interest in sharing with others who may need
things for the common cause of playing and sharing the music. As many
instruments as have been saved by such, access to those instruments
alone is limited, at best.
Regards to the many people, though, who collect to share and are sparing
little personal expense to do so -- my hat is off to you.
