Dear music box lovers, concerning the post of Roger Gonnissen,
I just want to say that Sankyo has stopped making 30 notes paper
movements for several years now, but they have made a new one which
has 33 notes, 3 semitones more in the bass.
The problem, of course, is that the 30-note movement has the same
width card strip as the 20-note movement, so you have to punch
very accurately. I have seen on web sites that there are some
30-note movements produced in China but I've never seen one to buy.
We provide 33-note Sankyo movements in a wooden box, punchers,
a notice and printed blank cards, but the prices for these Sankyo
movements are expensive (about 430 US$). See at

If you need further information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
