Jonathan Holmes asked about book/roll printing programs. I will give
a strong endorsement to Midiboek. I have primarily used it for 20-note
rolls, but it will do many formats.
It is worth noting that Piet Paardekam and associates do not charge
for the program, make updates, and that it is easy to download,
install, and customize: http://huizen.daxis.nl/~Ppaardekam/midib1e.htm
For John Smith busker organ rolls I have found that fan-fold computer
paper (still available) will work as the roll material, not just as
a template, if the joints are taped with Scotch "magic tape" or generic
equivalent. These "will last for years", but I don't know yet if they
are good for decades!
I have not tried "Template" or "Mid2Car" so I can't say which is best.
