Value of Mechanical Music
By David Haibach

Per Jim Crank's comments in 120108 MMDigest -- musical values aside
for the moment, I am not sure it is our interest and love "going the
way of the classic car hobby" as much as this trend of being reflection
of our value of "life" in general. This is just mirroring the focus
shift from the value of people and their creative talents and spirit
and going to the focus of the value of inanimate objects not linked to
any of the former. I suggest this has been happening for decades, but
now it is kind of epidemic.

Regards to all,
Dave Haibach
