Making Flanges for 65-note Music Roll Spools

One way to solve the problem is wind the paper on standard cardboard
piano roll cores. Then take one larger sized 65-note roll spool flange,
cut off each end and then find a wooden dowel that will fit inside the
cardboard tube. Then drill out the flange to fit it and you can then
insert them in the rolls.

This is sort of like putting the ends on the A, G, 4X, O and other coin
piano rolls; I did that with my Wurlitzer Pianino recut rolls and it
works great!
