Hello, Some of you will remember me writing all about the
Warfield player piano I got for Christmas. After some looking at
the system, I found that it is not a Standard Pneumatic action at
all, but a Pratt-Read action! I wonder how I hadn't thought to
look under "Waltham" (the maker of the "Warfield" line of player
pianos) on John Tuttle's Player-Care web site.

I had been saying the my air motor was not working, but after
taking it apart and cleaning it, the air motor isn't the problem at
all. The governor, when set to anything less than Tempo 90, does
not provide enough vacuum to move the airmotor valves. I checked
all the hoses and everything is clog- and dust-free, but the
governor does not let enough vacuum to the air motor, so it does
not turn very much.
I am absolutely puzzled by this, and I wonder if maybe there is
something stuck behind the opening inside the governor where the
air is pulled through that is clogged. Any help on this issue?
