Identity of Meloto Dance Roll 332859
By Paul Bell

I would like to thank Julian Dyer for his explanation of the batch
number at the end of the Meloto roll. I would also like to thank
Adam Ramet who successfully identified our roll having heard it play
on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXDtRyuBWo0

Adam provided me with the following information: the Meloto roll
number is 41090, the title of the piece is 'There's Something About
a Soldier', the music is by Noel Gay.

Adam also tells me that the roll was an arranged piece from the London
factory based at Hayes. By 'arranged' I would take it that it was not
recorded by a pianist.

I can't think of any other group that would be as helpful as the MMD.
Thanks to all.

Best regards,
Paul Bell
