Does anyone cut new rolls for the Regina Sublima piano at the present
time? If not, I am considering starting an exchange program where I
would get a roll from a Regina roll owner, make a copy, and then return
the original and a new recut roll of my own Sublima.
The idea is to have enough people with different rolls to make masters,
and later be able to offer a large selection of Sublima rolls. By all
means, this is not a new idea. Someone did this a long time ago, but
as I recall, when I contacted the person about selling the cutting
equipment, he told me he never made any masters after making all the
exchanges.
At the present time I own only one roll, with the following songs:
15055 "My Country 'Tis Of Thee," 15058 "Marching Through Georgia,"
15032 "The Star Spangled Banner," 15045 "Dixie's Land," and 15056 "La
Marseillaise."
Any suggestions about this plan will be gratefully accepted.
