Hi John Kiszla! Congrats on your new toy! I know how frustrating the
scavenger hunt is to find parts. I have a 1918 early A Chickering 5'8".
I'm so glad you found this site. That was a big part of the battle.
You will get plenty of wonderful help and advice here. One note:
I have been told by many that even if they were assembled next to each
other, no two Ampicos are exactly alike as to where everything is
located.
I have found the best source for manuals, diagrams, etc., is John
Tuttle's player-care.com web site. Just click 'Manuals' in the bar
below the P in Player, scan down on that page under '101 Technical
Reprints and Service Manuals'.
Email or call him if you need more info. He is always so friendly and
helpful. Please tell him Linda from Lebanon, Ohio sent you and thank
him again for me.
When checking to make sure I had the web site title correct I found he
is taking orders for Duo-Art Test Rolls soon to be available. I need
one for my 1919 upright Weber, so that helped me too.
