Dave Haibach, in 110903 MMDigest, asked about the Wurlitzer Style 155
"Monster" music CD, "Music for Carousel Lovers", that was sold at the
Kit Carson County Carousel. Jo Downey, Kit Carson County Carousel
Advisory Board member, has confirmed that all copies of the CD were
sold and there are presently no plans to publish another edition.
Four tracks from the CD can be heard at links under "Hear the Organ!"
at http://www.kitcarsoncountycarousel.com/about.html
The list of songs on the CD is below, courtesy of Matthew Caulfield.
Art Reblitz says that all or almost all of the original roll leaders
were missing so there was no trace of original roll numbers nor song
titles. The unknown songs, with substitute titles inspired by the
carousels beautiful carved animals, are marked with an asterisk(*).
Tunes #7 and #14-17 were arranged by Arthur A. Reblitz specifically
for the Wurlitzer Monster organ.
