MIDI-Operated Pneumatic Player Piano
By Geoff Ward

Regarding the sentiments expressed by John Tuttle (110830 MMDigest),
I share them to some extent. I do enjoy sitting down when I have
a spare moment and pumping half a dozen or so rolls. That's why I've
left the piano in full playable condition. However, I don't try to
imbue my performance with too much expression and I don't think that
the popular songs type of rolls that I enjoy call for heaps of varying
expression. (I also like listening to "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2",
again without much expression.)

But I do enjoy piano player music and now, when I choose, I can queue
up 20 or 30 rolls, sit back, relax and just listen -- and just take in
the scenery!
