Hi all, I just want to let people know I just heard that the Lake
Compounce carousel is not using their band organ.  They have not used
it all summer this year.  They had put in a CD player and they are
playing music which is not even a Wurlitzer 153 -- they are playing
a Wurlitzer 165 band organ CD.  The carousel just turned 100 years old
this year.

I think people like us should write letters to the park or even give
them a call and talk to Jerry Brick, the general manager of the park,
and let him know the organ should be playing on the ride and not just
sitting there quiet.

The Norton family is not around any more so we need to be them and
help save this organ just like Mr. Norton did.  The park address is
