You'd have to let us know what _size_ the disc diameter is to ascertain
if $1500 is reasonable. For an 8" instrument it's crazy; for a 15" it's
a very reasonable (okay, cheap!) price. Is it a single or a double comb?
Personally, I love Miras over Reginas any day, but from your perspective
I would suggest you stick with the Regina _if_ you like the sound.
You're buying a music box and it should 'do something for you'; which
sound do _you_ like better? Also, discs are readily available, both in
original and reproduction, for most size Reginas 15" and under. The
Miras are definitely more scarce than Reginas, but the discs are harder
to find also.
Is there anyone near you who knows more about boxes than you do, who
can look at it for or with you?
