"Tea For Two" Played By Liberace
By Bob Kissick

If anyone is seriously looking for a MIDI file of this tune it is
available from Yamaha on one of their Disklavier disks (Liberace:
Penthouse Serenade). As far as I recall this tune was not claimed to
be directly from the QRS roll but it sounds very similar (Did Yamaha
have a deal with QRS?) and it has the advantage that it already has
'expression' coded in.

I don't have the diskette (or a Disklavier to play it on) but I heard
it played some time ago. The diskette has 12 tracks and I enjoyed
listening to all of them. If you go to Yamaha's web site (Google on
<Yamaha "Penthouse Serenade">) it is still available to listen to as
a short 'sample' and also to download.

I've just listened to the sample on Yamaha's site and unfortunately it
only plays the intro, never getting to all the tunes mentioned, but they
are there. The sample just doesn't do Liberace credit, especially on my
sound card, but I remember that it sounded great on a proper instrument.

The download can be optimised for different Yamaha instruments so
perhaps someone on site will advise which of the various versions will
convert to MIDI the best. Remember that Yamaha Disklavier diskettes
are in a proprietary format (.fil) but I believe that these can be
converted to true MIDI format relatively easily.

Hope this helps.
