Pianino rolls came in several versions. Generally they are wound on
one-inch cores (commonly referred to as five tune rolls) or on the
larger core about two inches in diameter. The larger ones are used on
larger, cast-iron roll frames. The smaller ones are usually used on
the early-model steel frames or wood frames which do not play the
larger rolls. Some cast iron frames can play both sizes of rolls.
The same pretty much holds true for other types of Wurlitzer rolls.
The Bijou played a Pianino roll with the small core that had a wire
leader held with bookbinding cloth and usually had a metal chuck
similar to the APP roll chuck, but narrower for the Pianino roll.
Some rolls had one really long tune such as a classical piece or a
patriotic medley. These came in both small and large sizes. They all
could vary as to number of tunes. Most small rolls have five tunes.
The arrangements are unique to the Pianino and not found on other
Wurlitzer rolls, as far as I know.
