I like the MMD and I agree it should not change.  However, if a couple
MMD/MBSI members besides Robbie, Jody and Matt, wish to get together
and start a mechanical music forum unrelated to the MMD, for example
on Proboards, and focus only on the mechanical musical instruments
discussed here, then I say give it a try.  The only way to find out how
well it works is to open a forum and see what type of response it gets.

Yes, there is monitoring, but overall, speaking for myself who
participates on one of the phonograph forums, it is quite educational
and informative.  If it doesn't work the worst thing that can happen is
it gets shut down.
