Just a brief follow-on from the comments made by Mike Walter (110721
MMDigest).  The daily email we get is just about as much as I want
to digest each day.  I'm sure the same is true for many other busy
hobbyists and busy professionals.

If the format of this resource were to change to a forum (which
allows instant response to a posting) I would expect the message
traffic to increase significantly with the result that, like a lot
of other information sites I access, I haven't got the time to look
at all the information available.  Professionals and other experts
would also suffer this information overload and some would lose
interest in responding to technical questions.
