Please do not change to a forum system, I have terrible difficulty
with these.  I have been working with computers for 35 years but
I still cannot work out how to get into the forums for Organette or
Orchestrelles.  They often seem to allow me to join (using a different
e-mail address each time owing to password problems) then they have
never allowed me to make a posting so I have given up.

MMD is the best thing on the Internet.  There has been too much
separation in the past: for example, BOGA was a group that split off
from MBSGB in circa 1992, The Pianola (classical) group here in UK
split from Player Piano Group (PPG), and MOOS may have come from FOPS
(I am not sure about this one).

In view of the dramatic decrease in numbers in most groups over the
past 10 years, I think the groups may well have to combine in the
future in order to survive and keep all expertise available to all.

I see MMD as uniting all people in all countries -- musical clubs,
societies, etc.  It is a tremendous resource; that is why I have given
my tune lists to be on this site -- please keep adding to them.
