Story & Clark Orpheus Player Organs
By Gregory Filardo

The 110620 MMD carried an inquiry about Orpheus organs. There is the
Orpheus model with two sets of reeds. I have one model in oak with
pewter draw knobs and another one in mahogany with porcelain knobs in
pink, with black lettering and white background. This model has
perhaps the first transposer bar (the other model does not).

An Orpheus Grand model which belonged to Mr. Morton (of Morton Salt
Company fame) is mahogany, with elaborate inlay panels on the fancy
cabinet. It has multiple sets of reeds.
