Around 1970 a record album titled "Band Organ Memories" was made of
the Wurlitzer 165 band organ at Seabreeze Park, Rochester, New York
(the organ that was lost in the 1994 carousel fire). I am now offering
this record for sale on CD, carefully transferred by me, with the cover
and liner notes reproduced as well.
The cover, which features a color photo of the organ, and the liner
notes both say Dreamland Park -- the park's name had not officially
gone back to Seabreeze yet when the record was made. While the organ
wasn't yet actually "restored" as the liner notes suggest, it was fresh
from its first major rebuild and was in tune and playing quite well.
The quality of the stereo recording is excellent, and the "record
noise" is quite minimal. (My copy of the record was un-played when I
bought it, and I played it no more than twice before I recorded it for
this CD.)
The first five tunes are all from one roll that was played rather fast.
Two of those tunes were recorded again later for "Carousel Breezes"
Vol. 1. The other seven tunes were played at good tempos. Here is
the tune list:
1. Our Director
2. Love's Dream After The Ball
3. The Thunderer
4. Through The Line
5. On The Beautiful Blue Danube
6. Sweet Marie (the Raymon Moore tune from 1893, not the 1927 tune)
7. Lights Out
8. Ben Hur Chariot Race
9. Ciribiribin (waltz)
10. Beer Barrel Polka
11. Morning, Noon, And Night In Vienna, Overture
12. William Tell, Overture
Total Length: 43:30
I also have the CD listed on eBay, to which I have linked a short
YouTube video with an audio sample and a photo of the cover:

Please send me an email if you would like to purchase this CD (by
PayPal, check or money order) and I will reply with ordering
information. The price is $9.95 to the continental United States,
shipping included. Disc and liner will be promptly produced on an
as-ordered basis, and will come in a standard jewel case. Please note,
this is a CD-R (shouldn't be a problem unless your CD player is quite
old). The tracks are WAV files, not MP3. The disc itself will not be
labeled or marked. $1 from the sale of each CD sold to an MMDigest
subscriber will be donated to the MMD.
