The title of "legend" is rarely applied to a member of the mechanical
music community. Few members of our hobby have contributed more and
asked for less. Todd was a giant of a man, not in stature, but in his
faith and his contributions.
He focused on one of the lesser of the instruments that we all collect
-- organettes -- and he made us proud that we collected these humble
little machines that brought so much joy to so many. The organette
was the one category of mechanical music that working families could
afford. And the transformed entertainment until the advent of the
phonograph and radio.
Todd will be remembered forever for his gentility and expertise.
Mostly he will be remembered as a great friend and a man of God. He
will be missed for many reasons.
