Source of Hide Glue
By John McClelland

Greetings all, With the recent postings about hide glue, I thought
I'd share my $.02.  I have preferred the hot hide glue for rebuilding;
it's strong, removable (with some effort) and lasts forever.

I learned quite a bit about it by buying some from Bjorn Industries,
on the 'Net at http://www.bjorn.net/ They have various types with
setup times from almost instantaneous to four or five hours, including
a cold mix glue that doesn't require the double boiler.

They have available a pamphlet about the history of the stuff, as
well as suggestions for use. A very interesting info and well worth
patronizing, for anywhere from one pound to 55 gallon drums.
