An organ rally will be held April 30 and May 1, 2011, at the
Los Angeles Arboretum. They are having a Western Days event, with
games, music, food, and all sorts of fun events, including a stage
coach ride.
The Arboretum is on property once owned by E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin,
who established the Santa Anita racetrack. It consists of over 100
acres and is a fascinating place. You can come out and enjoy the
organs, the ambience of the grounds, and more. There are lots of
picture opportunities, with peacocks running loose on the grounds,
many historic gardens, and who knows what you will find. "Lucky"
Baldwin's ghost is even rumored to haunt the grounds. Don't miss it.
