Piano Roll Repair Tissue
By Nicholas Simons

Douglas Heckrotte asks for advice about repairing his old and torn
piano rolls. I use Lineco transparent mending tissue, Item L533-0017.
This comes in rolls of 1/2-inch wide by 600 inches long. This is
made in the USA which explains the use of these old-fashioned units!

This tape comes with a paper backing sheet which can be a bit
tricky to separate from the tissue tape, but once done, and if you
leave a short separated section after each use, it is easy to apply.
It is very strong and has negligible thickness compared with Scotch
Magic Tape.

Nicholas Simons, in metric GB.
